Lately, nothing has gone as planned because there have been a lot of unexpected events that just "come up" and must be dealt with which means that something else must bite the dust. But, as a retiree, it is easier to cope with unplanned events than it was a few years ago though we often say to ourselves--"How did we ever have time to work"?
